Standards only mean something if they are written down before they are tested. Here are ours.
Independence
Brands do not see content before publication. Brands cannot pay for placement, ranking or a favourable conclusion. No brand has editorial input on this site.
Disclosure
Where a link is commercial we say so, on the page, not buried in a policy nobody opens. See the affiliate disclosure notice at the bottom of every page for the full statement.
Attribution
Where a figure comes from a manufacturer - ratings, customer numbers, technical specifications - we attribute it to them rather than presenting it as our own finding. We do not independently verify those figures and they can change.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we would rather fix it than defend it. Send the page and the problem to our contact address and we will correct it or explain why we disagree.
