How We Test: Our Method, Our Limits, and How We Make Money
Before you trust any comparison on this site, here is exactly how it is produced, what we can measure honestly, and where our reporting stops.
Most product write-ups online are built from a spec sheet or a press release by someone who never opened the box. We think you should know which kind you are reading before you decide anything.
What we actually do
We buy or source the products we cover. Where a brand provides a sample, we say so plainly. No brand sees a write-up before it is published.
We use products for a real stretch of time. Many issues, good or bad, only surface after repeated use, not on day one.
We look for consistency, not a single anecdote. A single good or bad experience proves little on its own; we weigh it against publicly available information and manufacturer claims.
What we do not do
We do not run certified laboratory testing. Where a technical figure is quoted, it comes from the manufacturer and we say so. We are not equipped to independently verify potency, purity or clinical claims.
We do not make medical claims. Nothing on this site should be read as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
That is worth stating plainly because it creates an obvious incentive. Our position is simple: our assessment is formed before any link is added, and a brand cannot pay to change our conclusion. See the affiliate disclosure notice at the bottom of every page for the full statement.
How to read a comparison here
Treat it as a starting point, not a verdict. What worked for us may not match your situation. We try to describe our conditions clearly enough that you can judge for yourself.
